[PT | BR] “Vidas Secas”, de Graciliano Ramos, é um clássico da literatura brasileira que retrata com sensibilidade a luta de uma família sertaneja contra a seca e a aridez do sertão. As ilustrações que criei foram pensadas para traduzir essa atmosfera dura e poética, refletindo a dor, a resistência e a beleza presentes na obra.

[EN] “Barren Lives”, by Graciliano Ramos, is a classic of Brazilian literature that sensitively portrays the struggle of a sertanejo family against the drought and aridity of the backlands. The illustrations I created were designed to capture this harsh and poetic atmosphere, reflecting the pain, the struggle, and the beauty present in the work.
